Find a local Tasker to replace your engine in Sunshine Coast

My diesel Ute, Nissan Navara 2009 just recently shown up a engine check light on. Just need a scanner to see what's wrong as can't drive it to a mechanic safely. It doesn't rev very well so could be a blocked exhaust or fuel line. A quick scanner to let me know what's wrong so I might be able to fix it myself depending on the issue. Best guess is a problem with the DPF or fuel injections. I work all day during the week so preferably after 3pm or anytime weekends. Cheers - Due date: Flexible

I have a 2002 WR426F. I found fine metal filings in the oil filter. I want to open the engine, see what has failed and rebuild it. Given that the engine has had metal in the oil I'll need to rebuild the top end too. I've never done a rebuild like this before so I'm looking for someone to talk me through it. More than anything I'm looking to learn how to do it myself rather than have someone else do it for me. I'm happy to pay the same rate as if you were doing it though.

Hi. I’ve got an old TCM forklift (Datsun motor) that is running pretty rough. The vac line off the carburettor to the distributor had come off and that seems to be when the trouble started. It starts and will limp around with full choke and throttle so I’m assuming it’s nothing major. Petrol engines really aren’t my thing and I’ve got no time right now. Plenty of tools on site. Easy access inside workshop.
