My engine needs to be reconditioned. It recently has just started to overheat, and I took it to a mechanic and they did a visual inspection and a pressure test and said that the water pump was leaking the coolant was leaking and empty even though I just refilled it. Also they said the oil was leaking. I don’t want a full rebuild or whatever, I just want it patched up to be able to run for about a year until I am able to get a new car.

Audi a3 2009 8pa 1.8tfsi changed oil and filter few days ago with 4.5-4.6 litres of oil now dipstick showing no oil/minimum. Car blows black smoke so I also have a petrol leak and I looked at pistons through plugs pistons look wet with puddle of liquid in each also new sparks going black , I ordered a new pcv valve coming soon but with this much oil consumption im thinking piston rings/valves

Service Request: 2001 Jeep Cherokee 3.7L V6 – Rapid Coolant Loss The Issue: Major coolant loss and engine bay spray. The coolant reservoir empties completely within minutes of idling/running, but no large puddle forms on the ground. Observations: - There is a significant pink/red crusty spray pattern over the alternator, air intake, and serpentine belt. - The radiator cap was reportedly difficult to remove Friday but very loose/easy to remove Sunday. - Oil Check: Engine oil is clean (gold/black); no signs of "milkshake" or coolant mixing in the oil. - Exhaust: No white smoke or sweet smell from the tailpipe. Actions Taken: Topped up oil (was low) and refilled coolant twice; the tank drained both times without hitting the pavement. Suspected Faults: 1. Water Pump: Internal seal failure at the weep hole (spraying onto the belt/fan). 2. Thermostat Housing/Upper Hose: Pressure leak spraying the top of the engine. 3. Intake Valley Leak: Coolant pooling under the manifold and evaporating. Note for the Mechanic: The car needs a cooling system pressure test. It is currently unsafe to drive due to the rate of fluid loss.

Yesterday the engine light came up and the fan didn't turned off until around 5 minutes after turning the car off. I drove the car into an autocare to scan it and it showed up a few errors that apparently didn't make sense and the mechanic couldn't figure out what was going on. He turned the light off and stayed off until I got home, then when I got to work this morning it happened the same again. Took the car to the same autocare, scanned it again and it showed the same errors. He wrote a list of those and gave it to me to check somewhere else. I need a mechanic that have worked with Peugeot cars before to see what's happening and fix it as its systems are a bit tricky. Pay to be discussed.

The engine management light is on my car, I am looking for someone with a diagnostic kit to plug it in. I had a service recently and they changed the oil etc, they advised they were unable to turn off the engine oil level light.

The plastic splash guard underneath the engine of my Rav4 got caught on a concrete kerb yesterday and is now hanging down making the car undriveable. I need someone with a couple of car ramps to get under there and push it back up into place.
