I tried to take out my alternator on my sprinter van but was not successful. Bolts and belts are off but the alternator is stuck. I am now looking for a mechanic who is able to bolt the alternator back in the van and sort out the belts. So I can take the van to a proper workshop. This is a 15 minutes job for someone who knows what they are doing

I'll pay for the parts on top.* After spending way too much time to diagnosing my dead car, it's time to call in an expert who knows where to source the right parts quickly. The car: 2008 BMW coupe n52 engine. Current Alternator is genuine Bosch 180amp Current Battery is a Supercharge Gold Plus MF66H The issue(s): Battery died a few weeks back. No biggie, got a new battery. Turns out the old one died because it wasn't charging. 2 weeks on and I got a Christmas tree of lights on the dash, wipers went on, gearbox went into limp mode etc. Possible causes: 1. Battery is dead. Yep it sure is. Red window after a full charge and day on a restore cycle tells me I just ripped up $175 for no good reason. 2. Alternator, but more likely the voltage regulator attached to the Alternator is toast. Yep, by the toxic smell of the battery when I opened the boot and the crapped out battery, I'm pretty sure it copped a big over voltage charge for a bit until it melted. The previous issue of the battery not charging, was just the warning sign it was on the way out. The regulator is gone for sure. Not sure if the Alternator is still ok. 3. IBS module is stuffed. Maybe? I'm not sure, not an easy way to diagnose until the Battery / Alternator / Regulator is fixed. What I need done: 1. Pick up a new battery for it. I found the guy in southport the cheapest for MF66H but open to cheaper alternatives. 2. Find either a reconditioned or used alternator or new voltage regulator to suit and install. After diagnosis of current one. 3. Diagnose IBS after 1 & 2 are complete. Who I need it done by: Someone who not only knows how do do the job properly and has the software to read codes etc, but most importantly knows the who who on the GC to get the parts asap and cheap! Reco / used doesn't matter. The car is out the door after this! I need to get back on the road asap. - Due date: Flexible

I would like a quote please for an auto electrician or similar to add power points and whatever else is needed to add power to my 2021 LDV V80 van. Example: deep cycle battery connected to alternator! also solar panel on top with one or two batteries.
