Installation of two manual - lockable gates, one for a walkway and one for a driveway - both off the street (no permits required) for an apartment complex. I have attached two examples of what we would like. Hello, I'd like to get a basic gate installed between existing fences that have a spacing for a single car driveway. I do not have existing materials. The spacing is 2.8 metres. Maybe around 1.5 metres for the height, but I'm flexible and it definitely doesn't need to be as tall as the fence. Will need the fence for basic privacy and security purposes. It needs to be porous to wind as a previous gate failed under wind stress. The system should be able to accommodate a basic lock setup (e.g chain/latch and padlock) but I can set this up myself so it does not have to be included in this job. Open to second hand components if they do not compromise the durability of the construction and it reduces the overall cost. The existing adjacent fence posts may need reinforcement after the gate is added. A photo has been attached. It shows a former gate that is no longer there. I do not require the same design as this former gate.

Following reports of significant flooding within the factory premises, a comprehensive inspection of the property’s stormwater drainage system was undertaken to identify the cause of the water ingress and determine the necessary rectification works. Inspection identified a major defect within the external 150mm stormwater drainage line located beneath the concrete driveway servicing the factory. CCTV inspection and diagnostic investigations confirmed that the pipeline has become severely squashed, significantly restricting the flow capacity of the stormwater system. During periods of rainfall, this restriction prevents the drainage system from discharging correctly, causing stormwater to back up through the network. The resulting surcharge has led to substantial backflow and flooding within the factory, creating property damage and increasing the risk of ongoing water ingress should the defect remain unrectified. Due to the location of the damaged pipe beneath the concrete driveway, excavation cannot be completed without first undertaking concrete cutting works. It is recommended that the affected section of concrete be professionally saw cut and removed to provide safe access for excavation. Once exposed, the defective section of 150mm stormwater pipe is to be cut out and replaced with new pipework, ensuring correct alignment and fall are restored. Upon completion of the repair, the excavation is to be backfilled, compacted appropriately, and the concrete driveway reinstated to its original condition. A second defect was also identified within the factory involving a damaged 150mm stormwater downpipe. The downpipe has cracked and broken at the connection, preventing stormwater from being conveyed into the drainage system as designed. As a result, significant volumes of water have been discharging directly into the factory during rainfall events, contributing to the internal flooding and water damage. Hi, I need to cut, remove, and replace only the bottom section (approx. 5.5m wide x 2.4m long) of my exposed aggregate driveway where it meets the council footpath. The edge has lifted and the soil underneath has been washed away (created a void), which the council requires to be fixed. Scope of work: 1. Cut and demolish the affected bottom section of the driveway (approx. 10-12sqm). 2. Fill the underlying void with road base/crushed rock and compact it thoroughly with a plate compactor to prevent future moving. 3. Drill and dowel steel rebars into the remaining old concrete slab to securely join the new pour. 4. Pour new exposed aggregate concrete to perfectly match the height of the council footpath (eliminate the trip hazard). 5. All concrete debris and waste removal must be included.
