I have a 2005 Honda Accord and the central locking on the driver’s door is not working. When I use the remote, all other doors lock/unlock normally, but the driver’s door lock does not move. The driver’s door can still be locked and unlocked manually by pushing/pulling the lock. I’m looking for someone experienced with car door locks/central locking to come and diagnose the problem and repair it. It may be the door lock actuator, but I’m not sure and would like it checked first. Please let me know your price for labour, and if any parts are required, please advise separately.

I have a 2023 LDV G10+ van with factory remote central locking, traditional key ignition and a factory transponder immobiliser. I want to lock and unlock the factory central locking from my mobile phone. Option 1 - I will continue using a slim-coded transponder key to start the van, so I do not require remote engine starting or an immobiliser bypass. Option 2 - Let me know the additional cost of remote engine start or installation of a push button to start the van. I was thinking of Viper SmartStart/SmartCarKey Australia or an equivalent supported Australian product. The existing LDV remote must continue to operate, as I might require an emergency entry method if my phone or the vehicle battery is flat. I replaced the near side rear door on my son’s 2009 Honda Jazz after the original was damaged. Once installed, the electric window works but the door will not lock or unlock with the remote key. I have removed the door panel to take a closer look but can’t see anything obvious.

The central locking on my 2010 Mazda 3 is no longer working. I can lock the car manually with the key but with difficulties. I went to a mechanic that told me that the central locking activator needs replacing. I'm on healthcare card so cant afford overpriced offers.

Want a central locking system installed. Have not purchased anything will wait for recommendations if you have any. Back brake light out. Hoping it's electrical and just needs replacing Also have a dcdc charger and 50amp wiring kit that needs installing So a few jobs for ya lol
