We are seeking an experienced, friendly waiter or waitress to assist at a corporate wine tasting event in Sydney CBD (near Sussex Street). Event Details: 🗓 Thursday, 1 May 🕓 4:00pm to 8:30pm Duties Include: Setting up tables (placemats, wine glasses, table settings) Welcoming guests with a glass of sparkling wine Pouring wines during the event Light interaction with guests throughout the tasting General clean-up during and after the event Assisting with pack down (glassware, placemats, general event area) You will be working alongside myself, my business partner, and the Event Manager — so support will be available throughout. Requirements: Previous waitstaff, hospitality, or event experience preferred A great, professional personality is essential! Basic wine knowledge is a bonus, but not necessary — a short briefing/training will be provided before the event Ability to work neatly and efficiently in a corporate setting Comfortable interacting with professional clients Dress Code: Smart, polished appearance required. Please wear either: Corporate black attire (e.g., black dress, black trousers/skirt and blouse/shirt), After 5pm/cocktail-style black clothing (elegant but professional), Traditional black waitstaff uniform (black shirt/blouse, black pants/skirt, black closed-toe shoes) Clothing must be neat, ironed, and suitable for a high-end corporate event.
