I removed the draw string from a pair of sweats as it got lost into the hole on one side, that i thought would be easy enough to put back. but unfortunately they have stoppers around the waste making it really hard to put it back my self i am not sure if better to have some one rethread it professionally or just have them tailored to fit my waist. open to opininons and wil go with whichever task is less cost

Two pairs of ladies trousers, size 6, to have hemline taken up. Straightforward job to have both pairs of trouser legs sewn. Trousers are measured and pinned ready to go. Items can be dropped off and picked up from local address.

I have a small sustainable brand where I make all the clothing myself, but am needing an extra hand sewing the clothes so that I can focus on the marketing and other aspects of the brand. I worked at London fashion week for 5 years and have a good knowledge of how clothing is made, I just don’t have the time to fulfil all the sewing I need to do as I have a full time job in tech. I am looking for someone that can finish the garments for me, because of the nature of the business I am working with fabrics that maybe only have a few meters left, so every piece is different and one off. This means that I would be cutting the fabric patterns so that I can choose the placement, and then I would package everything up for you to sew the actual pieces. Everything will be included in the packs (threads, buttons, fusing if not already fused and paper patterns so that you can refer back to anything if needed). I don’t make complicated pieces, they are usually very basic shapes like wraparound skirts, shirts and loose dresses. I’d like someone that is located to the Sunshine Coast so that I can drop things off and collect things so it’s easy to maintain. Payment would be per hour as items will be coming to you already cut.
