I have 3 oyster lights that have gone bad. I'm preferring to replace it with regular E27 screw-in LED globe so future globe replacements can be done by the tenant. Also need to fix 4 switches that are either broken or are not functioning. If you're suggesting to replace with downlights - let me know how many downlights for one oyster light are you willing to replace? One won't be enough as it'd be low lighting for the area.

Hi Adam, I recently purchased just before Christmas, two new Tiffany lamps. They have light in the base with two lights on the top piece (a picture can be provided if needed). A day after purchase, I heard a crackling sound from one of the switches, then flickering of the lights. Obviously a short in the wiring at the switch site. Both are now off and unplugged as I don't want to risk a fire. I love the lamps, so a return is not an option to the seller. Looking for someone to fix and do it right. Ultimately, if possible since these need to be fixed anyways, hoping to put in a tri-light solution. i.e. 1. all lights on, 2. only bottom light on, 3. only top lights on, 4. all lights off. Not sure if this is possible, but willing to pay a little extra should this be doable. Either way, the switches need to be replaced to code and give peace of mind they won't start a fire. No rush on this, looking at mid January for this job. Thanks.
