Find professional property maintenance in QLD

We are looking for someone (or a team of two people) to assist with preparing a property for sale. Tasks including general landscaping (trim/ prune trees, weeding, raking, trimming edges, spreading mulch etc), property cleaning internal and external pressure washing, stain deck, hang artwork, assemble furniture, replace light bulbs and other assorted work. There is probably a weeks' worth of work (or more) and works need to be completed prior to 25/04/2026.

Looking for a reliable gardener/property maintenance person to work one full day (8 hours) once per month. There is always plenty to do, so the role requires someone who is hard-working, efficient, and experienced with general outdoor maintenance. Tasks include: • Whipper snipping where mowers cannot access, including around fences, edges, and trees • Mowing lawn areas – sticks and branches often fall, so these must be collected first before mowing • Collecting sticks and branches, cutting suitable pieces into kindling for firewood, and stacking neatly • Trimming reachable trees • Clearing and maintaining the driveway (~500m) including blowing out spoon drains and removing sticks/debris • General garden and outdoor tidy-up as required Important This is a full 8-hour day each month, as there is always ongoing outdoor maintenance to complete. We need help with our house and garden ASAP!! We have a big house on 2 acres with a pool and tennis court, multiple gum trees and 2 chickens and in summer particularly it is a bit of a nightmare! We have loved living here but now that we want to spend a bit more time travelling, it has become a burden. Ultimately we might sell but for the moment we want to explore getting help. So, we are looking for a keen, hard working, practical someone who would be happy to do a variety of jobs including some tidying up, fixing stuff or organising someone else to do that, helping with the pool, gardening etc. Basically anything that needs doing but more when we are away! You would need to be flexible, trustworthy and practical, happy to have variable and flexible working hours (we can also be flexible) depending on our needs, the time of year, your commitments etc. This would suit someone like a local uni student, part time contractor or a retired person. Payment would be negotiated but on a casual hourly rate.
