We need someone who can cut a palm tree down and stop it from growing or even remove a whole palm tree. It’s pushing out the fence so we need to do something about it before the fence will collapse.

Huge palm tree removal , in backyard - Due date: Needs to be done on Friday, 16 June 2023

There are 5 palm trees in the backyard that have some dead fronds needing to be removed. To be clear, we are just talking about chopping off the dead fronds only. - At a guess, each tree is roughly 6-7ms in height, a couple might be shorter (some possibly taller) (not 100% sure, you’ll need to take a look if your equipment can reach) - Each tree has some dead fronds, nothing over the top, but they need to be cut off so that they don’t fall and hurt someone, plus it’ll make them look a bit neater. - 4 of the trees have the bald bark and long fronds, 1 has the the fury bark and shorter fan style fronds - It was done about 2 or so years ago, quickly. Last time, a neighbour did it by using a large ladder with a platform and a pole chainsaw, but we understand that you might prefer to use different equipment - We’re not looking for a huge job and complete tidy up, would rather the focus be on just removing dead fronds etc - Please take waste with you, although there shouldn’t be a huge amount. Any decent bit of wood (the base of the fronds etc) could be chopped and left there for firewood on an outdoor fire pit if you want, otherwise please take it all away. If chopping off the dead fronds only is too small of a job and you’d rather quote for a larger tidy up, go for it. We’re hoping not to spend a huge amount of money on this but are very open to being convinced and negotiating to come up with the best solution after hearing your suggestions.
