I have a 1983 Honda CX400 that’s been sitting in the garage for about 4 years and hasn’t been started since. Was working perfectly fine and started with no issues. I need a qualified motorcycle mechanic to inspect the bike, see what’s required to get it running again, and provide a quote for any further work if needed. Ideally looking for: A mobile mechanic who can come to Currans Hill 2567, or someone who can pick up and return the bike if needed Experience with older/vintage bikes Ability to check battery, fuel system, fluids, and general mechanical condition Goal is to prepare the bike for historic registration, so I just need to know what’s required to get it safely running again. Please include details of your experience and whether you can travel or provide transport for the bike.

Brand new motorbike Need it’s first service done 500 klms

I need help getting this bike started. According to the last registration, it is listed as a 'QJ K69 Motorcycle 2013' but also seems to be a MOTOBI RKV 200 (or rebranded KEEWAY RKV 200). Just a cheapy lol. It had been left in a garage for a few years with a family member. I had taken it in November 2022 and tried to get it started. I have no experience with motorcycles but got my licence last year. Still have not ridden. The bike is UNREGISTERED and I plan to ride this around the street just to get used to it, once it's registered. - New battery - New spark plug - Fuel tank emptied, cleaned and replaced with new fuel. With the new battery, the bike tried to start but would not kick over. All lights now working (no power whatsoever before new battery). I did a spark plug test with the new plug and there was 'spark'. Fuel gauge (electronic) wasn't working before, but after maintenance it started to work. Fuel may need replacing again. The petcock is turned on the right way to get fuel to the carby. Not sure if there is enough pressure to get it moving in there? May need a new petcock? I attempted a carby clean. Don't think that did anything. Maybe a proper clean or rebuild? ***Also to note, the rear brake has come loose. Will need that re-attached/fixed. It's located in Campbelltown. I am stumped. I am not experienced but have been keen to learn though. Drop me some QUOTES for an initial diagnosis. Or for any possible maintenance then required.
