Previously have learned Mandarin (HSK Level 5) but due to Covid no longer practicing my speaking skills have really gone down and need to build back up my confidence. I would be interested in either: Someone to just meet up to practice speaking with me (All kinds of topics), or Someone with a teaching background to meet up to improve all areas of Chinese (speaking, reading and writing)

Hi, Child is nearly 6, looking for someone to teach him mandarin & get him accustomed to speaking it so he can speak to relatives when we visit them overseas (late next year). Lessons to be at our home ideally (Chatswood), weekdays prefered after 4pm. Can be a bit flexible, just let me know what suits, just depends on his other activities. Would prefer a play-based approach that includes occasion songs and incorporates knowledge of appropriate festivals that comes up (ie Chinese new year, moon festival etc). Ideally would like a little structure to the lessons, with very basic ‘homework’ each week (ie practice counting to 10, practice naming animals or colours etc). I am happy to go purchase any lesson books required, or print out materials needed- if you can provide/recommend even better. After a 45min lesson due to his attention span, would be ideally wanting a weekly lessons if we are a good fit for each other. Please outline your experience with teaching/Mandarin, thanks!
