The role involves cooking a mix of repeat family meals and snacks (which I’ll help train you on) as well as some fun, new recipes. We’re a mixed household — my husband is from Ireland and I’m from Asia — so we enjoy a variety of Asian and Western dishes. This would suit someone close to Glenelg, as the hours are light: around 2 to 2.5 hours in the mornings, 3–4 times a week. We’d also appreciate someone who’s happy to tidy up after cooking. Looking for a highly engaged and dependable individual that will work for us on an on-going basis in our home - either once a week (approx 6 hrs) or twice a week (approx 3 hours per visit). We are looking for a warm, detail-orientated and efficient person who is proactive, reliable and will become a member of our household. The core responsibilities of this position will be cleaning, general tidying, all laundry, some ironing (limited) and includes changing bed linen. Other adhoc tasks such as prepping food, pantry tidying, fridge reset, porch cleaning, windows will be needed from time to time. Suitable candidate will display a recent police check and be fully vaccinated with strong references. We are a family of four with a four-legged doggy. Price per hour is $30.
