There's no heavy furniture to shift (Sofa would be the only 1)— mainly boxes, bags, and smaller items that need carrying back and forth between the house and the car (and possibly a second trip to the new place). No stairs involved. Moving between grand floor houses. Most of the items will be stored in the garage at the front on the day, so it's straightforward physical work, just a fair few trips. If you don't have your own transport, that's fine — I can pick you up from the light rail station at Southport, or from your place if you're within about a 10-minute drive of Southport. I have hybrid flooring panels being delivered on the 24th of August. I am after someone, or a couple of people, to carry the boxes of it from the front of my complex into my second floor unit. Approx 50-100 meters involving going down a set of steps then up 1x flight of stairs. I have been told it will be around 25 boxes weighing approx 20kgs each. They are unable to give me a time of day for delivery but have said I will have an hours notice roughly so I’m wanting to have someone organised who will be available to do this task at short notice that day when the flooring arrives. Can add photos of the steps/stairs if required. Flooring could also be loaded and driven into the underground car park then it just needs to be carried up to the second floor.
