Hi there, I have a 2009 Nissan Tiida ST Hatchback with a 1.8L 4-cylinder petrol engine (MR18DE, C11 model), and I’ve purchased a brand new full fuel pump assembly — not just the pump motor, but the entire unit including the fuel level sending unit (float sensor). The reason for the replacement is that my fuel gauge is not reading correctly, and this new assembly should fix that. The fuel pump is located under the rear seat, so I believe the installation should be fairly straightforward. I’m looking for someone to come and install it, and if possible, I’d appreciate a short guarantee on the workmanship (a few months if reasonable). Please let me know your availability and if you need any more details. Thanks!

Hi, I need a quote to replace my car’s fuel pump. I have a 2009 Prado 150 Series 4.0L V6. I traveled from Sydney to Perth and refueled in Norseman, but my car wouldn’t start, despite running normally while crossing the Nullarbor. I was towed to a mechanic in Norseman who confirmed there was no fuel pressure. I was then towed to Perth. Once in Perth, I removed the back seats and carpet. After disconnecting the fuel line, I found it was completely blocked. I managed to clear the blockage using compressed air and also replaced the fuel filter, but the car still won’t start. Could you please provide a quote for replacing the fuel pump?

I replaced the fuel pump a while ago and everything was working fine. Then all of a sudden it stopped working again. I’m not sure if its a wire that’s come loose but need pulling out and having a look to diagnose. Fuel pump is brand new so won’t be that. Power is going to the pump but isn’t priming when ignition is turned on. Checked all fuses but never know could of missed one.Car is a 2005 Toyota Hilux aluminium tray. Car is not drivable so has to be done in my driveway. Make me an offer. Cheers
