Want to change old fashioned taps to existing shower. Install new Mondello 1/2 turn ceramic hot and cold taps. Existing taps work fine, just updating. I have attempted to change the taps, very easy process, the issue is that water still runs from the taps when water is turned on and the taps turned off. Seems to be two methods to rectify 1. Re-seating valve (everything looks fine to me). 2. Adjusting the spindle of the new tap and/or install spindle extender. I would like someone who has done the above previously to help me out. The taps came with extenders.

Remove two sets tree stumps from rear garden. Tree stumps located on top of waste water pipe so care required. Photos show the two set of stumps highlighted in yellow and a photo of each set. Final photo shows the access which is ~73cm at the narrowest point between the deck and raised planter.
