Hi! I’m looking for a very patient and understanding driving instructor to help me learn to drive and rebuild my confidence behind the wheel. I do have some previous driving experience in India, where I drove a manual car, but I was involved in a car accident in the past. Since then, I’ve become very nervous and honestly quite terrified of being behind the wheel again. Because of this, I would like to approach driving as though I’m a complete beginner and start from the basics. I don’t want my previous experience to be assumed to mean that I’m currently confident or comfortable driving. I’m looking for 10 × 1-hour driving lessons. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who: * Is extremely patient and calm with nervous/anxious drivers * Is comfortable teaching me from complete beginner level * Won’t rush or pressure me * Can gradually help me rebuild my confidence * Provides an automatic, dual-control vehicle * Is qualified or has strong experience teaching beginner drivers Budget: Maximum $650 total for all 10 lessons, including the Airtasker connection fee. My main priority is finding someone I feel safe and comfortable learning with. I’m happy to take things slowly and would prefer to stick with the same instructor throughout the 10 lessons if we’re a good fit. I need someone with an Open Australian Licence (preferably female) to sit on the passenger seat of my car while I drive to the Toowong Driving Test Centre to present my test. I live only a 5 min drive away and need to be there at around 10:30am 25th of September. I'll pay you $50 for your time which should be around 1 hour or less while you wait for me to finish the test

I’m looking for someone with a manual car that I could use for about an hour of practice before my driving test. I already know how to drive and hold a valid international driver’s licence, but I haven’t driven a manual car in about a year and would like a quick refresher.

I can already drive and have had some professional lessons, but I mainly need someone beside me while I practise things like head checks, merging, lane changes, positioning and getting comfortable driving on QLD roads before my practical test.
