I’m looking for a detail-oriented person to help prepare my home in Milton for a fresh coat of paint. This is a vital first step to ensure the new paint adheres perfectly and looks professional. The job involves deep-cleaning the interior walls and ceilings to remove all dust, grease, and residue. Scope of Work • Areas: 4 Bedrooms (note: one is a very small attic space), Hallway, Living area, and Kitchen. • Surfaces: Scrubbing both walls and ceilings thoroughly. • The Goal: Ensure surfaces are completely clean, streak-free, and ready for primer. • Preferred Method: To get the best results, I ask that you use a two-bucket system (one for sugar soap and one for a fresh water rinse) to prevent any soap film. • Pro Tip: Washing walls from the bottom up is preferred to avoid permanent water streaks. Requirements & Equipment • Provided by Me: I will supply the sugar soap and buckets. • Provided by You: Please bring your own ladders, sponges/mops, and drop sheets. • Care for the Home: I’d appreciate it if you could use drop sheets diligently to protect the floors from any drips while you work. • Quality Check: Once a room is dry, we’ll do a quick "glove test" for dust and a "squeaky test" in the kitchen to make sure it’s paint-ready.
