Ongoing Permanent Housekeeper – 6–8 Hours Per Week We’re looking for a reliable, friendly and proactive general housekeeper to help take care of our home on an ongoing basis. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can come once or twice a week, with the potential for additional hours/work down the track. The role is essentially to take care of the day-to-day household jobs and help keep the house running smoothly. Duties will include: * Laundry – washing, hanging out, folding and putting clothes away * Grocery shopping and putting groceries away * General tidying and keeping the house organised * Changing bed linen * General household cleaning and upkeep * Kitchen and bathroom tidy/clean * Taking bins out and other general household jobs * Helping with household organisation and errands where required * Potentially some basic meal preparation/cooking * Being proactive and noticing things around the home that need doing We’re looking for someone who is trustworthy, organised, efficient and happy to work independently. We’d love someone who can become a regular part of our household and genuinely help take the day-to-day load off us. Hello :) I'd like to set up a regular fortnightly cleaning engagement with a focus on cleaning the kitchen, living, floors and master bedroom and bathroom. We're having our first baby in July so would love the support to ensure we're on top of things, and also to assist if time permits during the cleaning session to do a load of washing, change bed sheets, any other organisational/house tasks around the house. We are a couple living in the house so the spare bedroom and bathroom is very lightly used (though may have guests occassionally) and the nursery is not used at all at the moment (will be used in 6 months or so). They will need a vaccuum and dust but not a lot more. We have a front sitting room that's not regularly used but will need the same thing. I have some cleaning supplies and am happy for them to be used. But also happy for your own tools/materials to be used, whatever you prefer. I'm completely flexible on days and times and will leave a key and code for access if we're not home. Once the baby arrives we may need to adjust the day/time.
