Fix wiring issues with my new kayhan head unit.. -No steering wheel controls for some reason the system is not reading or detecting the canbus - constant power to screen etc etc regardless if I take the key out and lock the car, it still stays on.. (I know it obviously has to be grounded somewhere to fix the issue but I’ll leave that to you

Hi all, I am seeking advice from an independent car audio specialist. I have a VW Multivan and need someone to recommend the right parts, source the parts, and install the parts, for a stereo upgrade. All I want us to run a subwoofer with the current system. There is an underseat enclosure available and I'm happy with that, but there's mixed advice online and I'm confused about the best way to get the stock stereo's output (via speaker cables) to an amp, which would then power the sub. It doesn't have to be super great quality - just a cheep and cheerful banging bass setup to accompany the existing system. There are lots of options to spend lots of money and pull out the head unit for upgrades, but I'm not keen on this route. Please only reply if you are a full time experienced installer. The price is for the advice and wiring. I will do the physical box install etc, but I would need you to wire up power to the amp and run wires to get the sound signal from the headunit to the amp. To confirm again - the price quoted here is for your advice, and payment for the time it takes to install all the wiring. The cost of all the hardware will be covered by me - and I will invest the time installing the sub box.
