I’m preparing my black ute for sale and looking for someone experienced in automotive paint correction / minor paint repairs. The vehicle previously had business decals/signwriting on the doors. The decals have now been removed, but the lettering is still visible in the paint (“ghosting”), presumably due to the surrounding paint fading/weathering. I’d like the doors machine cut/polished/paint corrected to blend the decal outlines as much as possible. There are also a couple of small scratches/marks around a panel on the vehicle that I’d like buffed out where possible, or professionally touched up/painted and colour matched where they’re too deep to polish out. The aim is to get the vehicle presenting really well for sale — I’m not looking for a full respray. Details: The top metal track for our sliding mirrored wardrobe pulled out of the plasterboard ceiling. The original screw holes in the ceiling are stripped, so the track needs to be securely re-anchored (likely with toggle bolts or by drilling new holes). There is a small surface scratch on the wall that needs a quick dab of filler. Note: The track and the heavy glass doors are completely undamaged. We just need the track safely secured to the ceiling again so we can put the doors back on.
