I have a 2008 BMW X5 E70 (right hand drive) with weak windshield washer pressure and a noisy washer pump. I’m looking for someone to replace the washer pump. The job location can be any location you suggest, preferably near Southbank VIC. I do not have the washer pump yet. If you already have an aftermarket washer pump, I’m happy to use that. If not, I can purchase it myself, so please let me know the correct part number. We are requesting a quote for assessing the damage on a 2003 BMW 325i? And if it is something that you are able to repair yourself, we would like to get a quote for you to repair it as well. We had it assessed by a local mechanic who said that the radiator assembly, fan assy and fan shroud are damaged, and the expansion tank is leaking. It is not possible to start the car. The car is getting prepared for sale so I'm trying to improve some of the cosmetics. - The old bumper had a recent accident so I've sourced a new one from a wrecker. The installation process appears to need some skill and special tools that I don't own. - The interior rear door handles have also become sticky as the rubber is disintegrating. I have bought a new set of handles that need installing. - (Optional) The iDrive button doesn't work so the type pressure warning cannot be turned off. I would like to remove the module and attempt a repair (resoldering a few bits on the board - I'll do that part most likely). Car is located in South Yarra. Can travel locally. Hi there, I’ve had someone let me down with completing a backup cam install into the Mr12Volt CarPlay unit they installed in my BMW E82. I bought the unit and replacement boot handle with camera, though my understanding is that it’s being powered by jumping onto the 12V reverse light when it needs to have dedicated power. It’s there — the screen goes blank in reverse but no image. It worked for maybe a minute or two (albeit really flickery) when it was installed but stopped pretty much straight away. He was meant to come back to fix it but has ghosted me and gone on to take other jobs. I’m looking for someone reliable and professional to: • Run dedicated power from the pre-installed Mr12Volt unit to the installed backup cam • Assess functionality of the front grille cam (cable already fed through firewall and in place — I have the front cam ready) • Replace existing backup cam in BMW F31 with a replacement cam I have (higher resolution) Needs to be neat and tidy please.
