I need some help with a few bike repairs: Remove a couple of cogs from the cassette Replace/repair a bent quick release (QR) skewer Adjust the chain for smoother pedaling in line with the rear wheel cog Bike went from gears to single speed hence why adjustment is required The bike is otherwise in good condition, just needs these fixes. Hello, I have a very nice mountain bike that I bought second hand four years ago. It's been sitting in my garage for the last two years. I've given it a clean, and am keen to ride it again but would like to get a quick "tuneup" and checkup just to ensure the bike is in tip top. It had been serviced just before I bought it so it doesn't need the full service, just hoping for an inspection of suspension, brakes and gears, inflate tyres to correct pressure, safety check and re-lube of drive chain.
