I need a basic service for my electric bike. I bought it from a friend who converted a bike to electric. The gears need realigning and a rivet popped off the chain so that needs to be fixed (may need to be replaced but I think it can be fixed. Also needs other basic checks. It has a choke so bike shops won't service it. I will be at home on Saturday or Sunday afternoon if those times suit.

Hi, I bought an e-bike from Big W (BIG MISTAKE) and within minutes of riding the bike, the chain crank ripped through the cable that connects to the battery port (see image). Big W and their seller, Edison's Direct, have been an absolute pain in the *** to deal with and months later, there's no reasonable solution. I just need the ripped part of the cable to be fixed and, to my understanding, this should resolve the issue. Hoping someone can help, as I'm desperate and at my wit's end.

Hello, I have a very nice mountain bike that I bought second hand four years ago. It's been sitting in my garage for the last two years. I've given it a clean, and am keen to ride it again but would like to get a quick "tuneup" and checkup just to ensure the bike is in tip top. It had been serviced just before I bought it so it doesn't need the full service, just hoping for an inspection of suspension, brakes and gears, inflate tyres to correct pressure, safety check and re-lube of drive chain.
