Looking for a filmmaker/videographer to shoot a few scenes at Bondi Beach next Monday 31 august. The footage must be shot on a professional camera. I’m not looking for iPhone/mobile content. The shoot will be very straightforward and should take a maximum of 1 hour. We’re looking for one videographer/content shooter to help capture a live Afro house / Afro tech DJ event. The role is simple but important: we need someone in the crowd filming on either a DSLR, mirrorless camera, or high-quality iPhone so we can use the footage as part of a multicam edit. You need to have a good understanding of music and DJ sets. The key thing is knowing when to film the build-up, crowd reactions, drops, transitions, and key moments in the set. We want someone who can feel the energy of the music and capture the right moments, not just randomly point a camera around. What we need filmed: • DJ close-ups from the crowd • Crowd energy and dancing • Build-ups and drops • Big reaction moments • Wide shots showing the vibe of the event • Short vertical clips for social media • Some horizontal footage for multicam editing Ideal person: • Has experience filming live music, DJs, events, parties, nightlife, or festivals • Understands house / Afro house / electronic music • Can stay focused during the set and capture key musical moments • Has their own camera or newer iPhone • Comfortable filming handheld in a busy crowd • Can deliver footage after the event via Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc. This is not a full event videography role. We already have other camera angles covered. We just need one reliable person capturing high-energy crowd/DJ footage from inside the party.
