Hi there I’m looking for assistance with a tree-root issue in my backyard. I have a tree (not sure what specifically, might be green ash?) in my small backyard. The tree has grown too big (5m tall). Some of the surface roots have already lifted the ground, causing uneven soil and pavement. Some of the branches are reaching neighbors backyard, and the tree has also blocked too much sunlight to the backyard. My preference at this stage is to keep the tree. I might need your assistance to 1.shave the roots underground (optional: a root barrier) 2.trim the trees/branches as much as needed (reduce the impact to the neighbor and get some more light to the backyard) 3.re-level the ground (roughly 1m2, small) However, if you believe the tree is better to be removed and replaced with another, I am open to consider this option. Hi there, I am looking for a qualified arborist to help with a plum tree in my front yard in Ashburton (VIC 3147) that was damaged by strong winds last weekend. The situation: A large section of the tree has split and fallen due to the storm (see photos). The tree is currently heavy with fruit. The split is quite deep near the main trunk. The task: Safety Removal: Cut and remove the fallen/broken section of the tree safely. Assessment & Saving: My priority is to save the remaining part of the tree if possible. I need you to assess the structural integrity, perform remedial pruning to balance the tree, and treat the wound to prevent disease/rot. Cleanup: Remove all green waste and debris from the site (I do not have a mulcher on-site). Requirements: Must be a qualified arborist / experienced tree lopper. Must have own equipment (chainsaw, PPE, waste removal truck/trailer). Public Liability Insurance is preferred. Access: Front yard, easy access from the street.
