Review sports club policies for gaps, clarity and consistency We’re a community LGBTQIA+ sports club seeking someone with policy drafting and governance experience to independently review our draft policy framework before committee approval. This is more than proofreading. We want someone to assess whether the policies are clear, practical and sufficiently comprehensive, identify anything we’ve missed, and recommend improvements proportionate to a volunteer-run community club. The scope includes 11 core policies covering: * Member and participant protection * Complaints, investigations, discipline and appeals * Safety and incident management * Weather * Safer social events and substance use * Team gender composition * Registration and refunds * Privacy, member data and surveys * Social media and digital communications * Uniforms, branding and sponsorship * Committee governance and financial controls There are also six associated framework documents, guides and checklists, bringing the current scope to 17 documents. These cover governance, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, consent and boundaries, accessibility, complaints guidance and sponsorship due diligence. Please review for missing provisions, unclear responsibilities, inconsistencies between documents, fairness, accessibility and ease of understanding. Flag any areas requiring specialist legal advice. Deliverables: annotated documents with comments and suggested wording, plus a concise summary prioritising essential changes and recommended improvements for committee consideration. The task is to review policies and supporting guidance; drafting operational procedures is outside the scope. Please outline your relevant experience with policy drafting, community organisations or sporting clubs, your availability and proposed fee. Document lengths and current drafts can be provided to confirm your quote.
