Looking for someone to make and install 8 custom fly screens to match the existing ones on our building (photos attached). They need slim aluminium frames in the same dark green as the window frames, with dark mesh. The screens: 2 bedrooms (first floor): one double window each, 2 screens per window at roughly 650 x 500mm (4 screens), fitted outside the window like the existing ones Kitchen: 1 screen, roughly 880 x 570mm, outside the window Living room: 1 screen, roughly 1050 x 900mm, outside the window Bathroom (first floor): 2 small windows, roughly 920 x 440mm each. These open outwards, so the screens need to be face-mounted on the brickwork outside the window frame and will be a bit bigger than the windows. Measurements are approximate, so you’ll need to measure on site before making them. Must-haves: Finished by Friday 13 November Colour match to the existing green Very low impact: minimal, neat fixings, no damage to brickwork, paint or frames, and a tidy site afterwards You’ll need a large ladder or other access for the first-floor windows Please only make an offer if you can do the whole job (make and install) by the 13th. Happy to send more photos or have you come and measure first.

I’m looking for an experienced carpenter or door installer to supply and install a new front entrance door for our house. We want the new door to look almost exactly the same as the existing door, including the baby blue colour, classic design, raised decorative panels and framed contours. However, we would like the decorative panels to be slightly narrower to provide sufficient space for installing a smart lock in the future. The existing fixed glass sidelights on both sides of the entrance are to remain unchanged. Existing door dimensions: Width: 1,020 mm Height: 2,300 mm Thickness: 40 mm (excluding raised decorative panels) Scope of work: Supply a custom-made door matching the existing door's design, colour and overall appearance. Modify the width of the decorative panels as necessary to allow sufficient space for a future smart lock installation. Ensure the door is suitable for external use and compatible with the existing doorway. Remove the existing door and install the new door, including any necessary fitting and adjustments. Reuse or supply suitable hinges and other hardware as required. Ensure the door opens and closes smoothly and fits properly. Remove and dispose of the old door and installation waste. Please refer to the attached photo of the existing door when preparing your quote. The priority is to maintain the same overall appearance while making the necessary design adjustment for a future smart lock. Please provide an all-inclusive quote covering the door supply, custom manufacturing, installation, hardware and disposal. If any additional work is required, please specify it separately. Ideally, I’m looking for someone with experience in custom external doors and decorative panel designs. Thank you!

Looking for someone to move our existing door hinges so the door swings out, instead of in. It will require a new frame on the inside of the door jam to support the door swinging outwards now. Existing door latch also needs fixing as door currently swings open. Would like to keep existing handle if possible. Please include all materials and labour in your price.
