WEB DEVELOPER WANTED — HOSPOHELPER I’m looking for a web developer interested in helping turn an idea I’ve been working on into a functioning website. The idea: HospoHelper HospoHelper is a free website designed to help young and casual hospitality workers in Australia understand what they should be getting paid and what to do if something doesn’t look right. Underpayment remains a significant issue in hospitality. In 2024–25, the Fair Work Ombudsman recovered $3.1 million for 1,814 underpaid workers in fast food, restaurants and cafés. For young workers, navigating award classifications, casual loading, penalty rates, overtime and allowances can be confusing. HospoHelper aims to answer one simple question: “I worked these hours this week. How much should I have been paid?” How would it work? The initial website would feature a user-friendly wage calculator where workers enter their age, employment type, role, hours, breaks and actual pay. HospoHelper would estimate their entitlements, explain the calculation and highlight potential discrepancies. Beyond the calculator, I’d like to develop a guided underpayment pathway helping users check their payslips, understand their rights, draft a message to their employer, keep relevant records and access official Fair Work resources. The goal isn’t to replace legal advice, but to make understanding workplace entitlements easier and more accessible. Where it’s at I’ve purchased the domain and developed the core concept, but need someone with the technical skills to help build an MVP. I’m also open to ideas for additional features. Who I’m looking for University students, graduates, freelancers or experienced developers are all welcome! Experience with web development, UI/UX, databases or calculators would be helpful, but reliability and enthusiasm for the project matter most.

** EDIT*** apologies for delayed responses, have unexpectedly had to travel interstate, will return 23rd October and will asses all responses. Thank you for your interest and your patience ** Existing square space website needs updating with new products. We need to have the existing products removed and add new products. We are in the process of doing all the photography now that can make a start on the theme and the background of the website which is completely different. Does not need a web developer just someone who can work efficiently and quickly in updating products on a square space online shopping website. Previous experience using square space for online shopping essential.

Started a new maintenance business though I know very basic computer skills. So far I've created the Facebook business page. I require a new email setup. Preferably something that can separate emails to groups like invoicing, quotes, bookings etc. I'd also like a website made in which customers can see what we do, contact us, book jobs and request call backs or quotes. If possible depending on costs it would be nice to include set pricing for jobs. As an example, patching holes in walls. The customer can select the size of the hole on the website and it will have a pre set price for the job so they can book automatically a time of they are happy with the price without the need to speak directly to me. Also I'm struggling to get business adds approved on Facebook. I have no idea how to get around this or know better ways to get the name out there In the local area so happy to pay for someone's knowledge or ideas on that also. And if it's something you can physical do and promote the business that would be awesome also

Title: Experienced Web Designer Needed to Finalise an Existing Website (including mobile web) I am looking for an experienced, independent web designer to help me complete and refine an existing website that has already been built but needs professional attention. I am not looking for a large agency or an expensive, impersonal service. I would prefer to work directly with someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, offers practical advice and genuinely cares about the final result. What I am looking for: - Understand my objectives, ideas and preferences before making changes. - Improve the design, layout, functionality and overall user experience as needed. - Communicate clearly and involve me throughout the process. - Agree on the scope, cost and revisions before starting. Please share examples of websites you have worked on, particularly existing websites you have improved or completed. I value good communication, attention to detail and a personalised approach. Please explain how you would approach a project like this and whether you would be happy to have an initial discussion before providing a quote.
