looking for a licensed electrician in Perth to help track down a frustrating RCD tripping issue at my place. It trips randomly, usually when heavier appliances (like the washing machine, A/C, or EV charger) are running. We have a few suspects: An old pergola light that got wet a while back. A recently installed roof GPO and a couple of new indoor lights. An older washing machine/dryer. The last electrician tried replacing some power boards based on a guess, but it didn't fix the issue. I really need someone who can come out with an insulation resistance tester (Megger), do a proper test on the circuits, and actually pinpoint the fault rather than guessing. If you're great at fault-finding and have the right testing gear, let me know your availability!

Replacement of seal on Bosch serie 4 washing machine WAN24121AU. I do not need the problem diagnosed. There is a clear chip in the door seal and the water is leaking through the front loading door. The property manager has advised that the tenancy has three-phase power and a 100-amp electrical supply. I need independent confirmation that the existing electrical infrastructure is suitable for the proposed café equipment. The inspection should assess: Whether the 100-amp supply is dedicated to the tenancy; Whether it is 100 amps per phase; The condition and capacity of the electrical switchboard; Available spare circuits; Existing three-phase connections; Whether the air-conditioning and hot-water system use the same supply; Likely requirements for additional circuits and power points; Whether the supply can support the proposed café equipment; Any obvious electrical compliance or safety issues; An indicative cost range for required electrical installation work. The proposed equipment may include: Commercial espresso machine; Coffee grinders; Cake display refrigerator; Under-counter refrigerators; Ice maker; Dishwasher or glasswasher; Water boiler; Small electric oven or food warmer; POS equipment; Lighting and illuminated signage. More than 95% of the equipment and fit-out components will be sourced from China. Before final purchase, I will provide model numbers, power ratings, voltage, amperage and technical specifications. I need the electrician to advise whether the imported electrical equipment can be connected legally and safely in Australia and what compliance documents will be required. The property manager has advised that the premises has water, hot water, floor waste, trade waste and access to a shared 2,000-litre grease trap. However, they have also stated that there is “no sewerage”, which needs to be properly investigated. I need the plumber to inspect and confirm: Whether the tenancy has an existing sewer or sanitary drainage connection; What the statement “no sewerage” means in practical terms; Whether café sinks can be connected; Whether a dedicated handwashing basin can be installed; Whether a commercial dishwasher or glasswasher can be connected; Whether coffee-machine drainage can be connected; The location and condition of the floor waste; How the tenancy connects to the shared grease trap; Whether the shared grease trap appears suitable for the proposed café; The capacity and condition of the existing hot-water system; Whether the floor would need to be opened for additional plumbing; Any likely plumbing or drainage upgrades required; An indicative cost range for the required local plumbing work. The café will serve coffee, tea, drinks, cakes, desserts and light meals. It will not initially operate as a heavy commercial kitchen. Please provide: Your WA plumbing licence details; Your experience with café, restaurant or trade-waste installations; Your inspection fee; Whether a short written report and indicative cost estimate are included. This is initially an inspection and advice task. Additional installation work may be offered separately after the lease and fit-out plans are approved.
