Help Needed with Transmission Removal & Rear Main Seal Replacement – 2000 Toyota Echo Looking for an experienced mechanic or someone with good mechanical knowledge to help finish a rear main seal replacement on a 2000 Toyota Echo automatic. Most of the preparation work has already been completed. Everything has been disconnected from the transmission, the subframe has been removed, and I’ve started removing the transmission. However, the engine is currently supported by a hydraulic jack, which isn’t providing adequate support and is causing the engine to sag. I suspect this is making it difficult to remove the transmission. What I need help with: * Bring a suitable engine support bar and potentially tall 3–4 tonne jack stands. * Properly support and stabilise the engine. * Help remove the transmission. * Remove the drive plate and inspect the crankshaft/sealing surface. * Replace the rear main seal. * Reinstall the drive plate and transmission. What’s already done: * Transmission components disconnected. * Subframe removed. * Transmission removal started. * No need to reinstall the subframe or other removed components. I’m looking for someone with experience working on automatic transmissions who has the appropriate equipment and can help complete this stage of the repair safely. Please let me know your experience, availability and whether you have the necessary equipment.

toyota Echo 2000 automatic. im replacing rear main seal. i have everything disconnected from transmission and have started removing it but i need help. my engine support is poor with a hydraulic jack so my engine is sagging. i think this is what is causing my trouble to remove the tranmission. i need someone to come and help with an engine support bar, maybe some tall 3 or 4 ton jack stands and then to help remove tranmission, reinstall seal and and put the tranimssion back in. subframe and everything is already removed and you do not need to put it back in either. just get tranmission out, remove drive plate, replace seal and inspect crankshaft, and put tranmission and drive plate back in.

Hey there! Just bought this car, it’s a 1991 toyota camry so i don’t want to invest allot of money, just wanting to patch it up and prevent the spread of the rust for as long as possible. It leaks into the boot, so just a preventative would be great! I don’t have allot of funds as I have to get roadworthy. Cheers in advance!

I have a 2016 Toyota Hiace which requires an alarm installed. I’d prefer for it to work with our factory key which allows for remote lock and unlock. Would prefer a Saturday install at our house if possible.
