We are gradually removing carpet and laying floorboards through our home. We have a small wardrobe that has the skirting boards previously nailed and glued to the wall. We need them removed and floor boards (supplied) to be installed. Skirting seems to rip off wall due to glue so will need to be someone who can repair large holes in wall.

Need to replace Jarrah floor boards as previously someone had cut a hole in the floor to place something under the floor. Hole was never used and floor boards are now damaged. Each board is 60 mm wide x 10mm depth. The boards are staggered so they don’t have to be one solid strip nor any specific length as the lengths are all different. Just want current boards removed and hole covered. Not sure what it’s worth to do this, but please feel free to throw your offer as my way :) Thanks!

Hi, I’m looking for an experienced flooring professional to repair and install tongue-and-groove flooring over a small cut-out section of my floor. Scope of work: • Area size: 236 cm (L) x 55 cm (W) • Existing laminate flooring removed due to previous works • Concrete subfloor exposed and uneven • Step 1: Prepare area and apply self-levelling compound to bring the floor to the correct base height to match existing flooring • Step 2: Install tongue-and-groove laminate flooring to seamlessly match existing floor (floating floor system) • Ensure correct expansion gaps and a flush, level finish • Minor trimming/cutting required for a neat fit around edges Important notes: • Flooring is tongue-and-groove (floating), not glued or nailed • I will supply the flooring boards • Photos of the area are attached for reference • Looking for someone who has done floor patch repairs, not full rooms only You will need: • Experience with self-levelling compounds • Flooring tools (saw, spacers, tapping block, etc.) • Ability to colour/height match existing floor Timing: Flexible, but would like this completed ASAP

Task Description I need a handyman/flooring person to repair or replace the damaged/loose floor transition strip between tile and timber flooring at a doorway/threshold. The current strip/edge looks lifted/unfinished and is creating a trip hazard (see attached photos). Scope of Work (Expected) Inspect the transition area and confirm the best fix (repair vs replacement). Remove the existing damaged/loose trim/strip (if required). Supply and install a suitable transition strip (reducer / ramp style if appropriate). Ensure the finish is flush, secure, and safe (no sharp edges, no gaps). If needed: minor trimming/levelling of the edge + adhesive/screws and neat seal/finish (e.g., silicone/caulk). Clean up work area and remove any old materials. Materials Please include supply of the transition strip and fixings in your quote (unless you prefer I purchase after your advice). Preferred finish: neat and professional, matching timber as closely as possible. Photos Photos are attached showing the current issue at the doorway threshold. Timing Flexible – ideally within the next week. Please suggest your availability. What to Include in Your Offer Total price including materials (or labour-only price + estimated materials). Estimated time to complete. Any assumptions (e.g., if subfloor needs packing/levelling).
