Hi there, I am starting a small-scale online fashion brand in Sydney and am looking for an experienced freelance pattern maker who can also handle sample machining (cut & sew) from a home studio or small workshop. I am launching with a single "Hero Product": a two-piece set consisting of an oversized raglan-sleeve blouse (with a collar and hidden placket) and a wide-leg palazzo trouser (with an elastic back / flat-front hybrid waistband). The Material: High-quality Smooth Cotton Poplin. What I need: 1. A first pattern creation based on a technical flat sketch and reference images. 2. A first fit-sample/toile to test the volume and fit. 3. Production of a small initial batch of 5 complete sets (all in cotton poplin). Requirements: • Must be located in or around the Sydney area. • Experience with pattern drafting, sizing/grading, and professional garment construction (overlock finishing). • Friendly to startups/small orders. If this sounds like you, please send me a message with a rough estimate for the pattern + first sample, or your hourly rate. I’d love to see some examples of your previous work! Thank you so much!

Hi there! I am looking for a skilled seamstress, dressmaker, or tailor to create an exact replica of my favourite denim shirt. The original shirt fits me perfectly, but it is starting to get worn out, and I want a fresh copy/copies made! I can hand over the original shirt to you to use as a physical template and would like it done in linen/thick cotton ideally.

Hello! I’m looking to commission a costume based on the yellow hazmat suit from A24’s Backrooms film. I’d like the suit made from scratch using fabric, with the square visor and black details matching my reference photos as closely as possible. I already have black boots, so I only need the suit. My estimated height is around 125 cm, but I’ll confirm my measurements before the suit is made. My budget is up to $150 AUD, and I’d ideally need it ready before October 31, 2026. Do you accept commissions like this? If so, could you please let me know the total price, whether you can meet the deadline, and what measurements you’d need from me I will also send a photo of me so you can get an Imagen of how tall I am Thank you!
