Hello, I’m looking for someone who is really good at making good social media content and who is available to work with me for 1-2hr each week and keep me accountable to making it while also assisting in a couple of technical aspects of editing. For a variety of reasons no doubt linked to neurodiversity, I’m just not good at regularly posting on social media. I never find the time to get around to it and at the first hurdle in editing something I give up. However I’m an artist and really need to start getting a lot better at it. I grew up with tech so I don’t know how everyone else got the message on how to make good content easily and I didn’t but it’s just happened that way. I’m really just looking for some who’s good technically with things like CapCut, TikTok and instagram and can meet either in person or online weekly and can answer the odd technical question and essentially just force me to be accountable at creating and posting. I’m looking for a creative and reliable social media assistant to help with filming, editing, and managing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook. This role suits someone who understands what actually performs online, not just basic editing. Location: Must be local to the Sunshine Coast, ideally near Coolum Beach or surrounding areas, as some in-person collaboration is required. What I’m looking for: • Experience with TikTok, Reels & short-form content • Confident with filming and setting up shots (angles, lighting, etc.) • Strong skills in video editing (CapCut, Canva or similar) • Ability to follow trends and create engaging content • Comfortable writing captions and managing posts • Organised, proactive, and easy to work with • Professional and discreet The role may include: • Filming content in person • Editing videos for social platforms • Caption writing + basic strategy • Scheduling and posting • Brainstorming content ideas Payment: Open to hourly or per-project, depending on experience. I’m currently trialling a couple of people and may either work with one person or build a small team, depending on how things progress.
