Hi, I’m looking for an experienced home theatre / AV setup specialist to advise me on the best projector screen solution for my living room. Current setup Wall-mounted TV (already installed and staying permanently) shown in picture Short-throw projector (used occasionally, not daily) shown in picture Projector will be stored in a drawer and pulled out only when needed or you can built the drawer on top of the tv bench I do not want to remove or relocate the TV What I need help with I want a projector screen solution that sits in front of the TV only when needed, such as: Ceiling-mounted pull-down screen, or Motorised Scope of work (advisory only – no installation yet, but if you can install i will hired you) I need: Recommendation on best screen type for a short-throw projector Advice on manual vs motorised screen (pros/cons for my setup) Suggested screen size based on typical living room use, i think 100 inch would be sufficient Recommendation of specific products available in Australia High-level advice on mounting position (ceiling / wall clearance over TV) This can be done via: Short site visit or Video call + photos of my living room What I’m NOT looking for Cheap generic advice Fixed screens that permanently block the TV Projecting directly onto the TV or wall Ideal Airtasker Experience with home theatre setups Familiar with short-throw or ultra-short-throw projectors Can recommend reliable brands/models available in Australia Outcome After this task, I want to confidently: Purchase the correct screen, you can help me purchase the screen Know exactly what installation approach works best Avoid trial-and-error or buying the wrong screen Happy to answer questions or share photos/videos of the space.
