Looking for an experienced plasterer / gyprock installer to repair and replace sections of walls following damp remediation works. I attempted to remove some of the damp brittle gyprock Property is a Victorian terrace in Surry Hills, and some wall sections at low level have deteriorated and been partially removed. Scope of works needed: • Remove any remaining damaged plaster / gyprock where required in addition to another room that needs replacing • Assess and prepare wall surfaces (some areas down to brick) • Install new plasterboard where appropriate OR rebuild using base coat plaster (open to recommendation) • Patch, set, and finish walls ready for painting • Ensure smooth, flush finish to match existing walls • Reinstatement around skirting boards

Hi, I’m looking for a licensed electrician to install a picture light in my living room with a clean, near-invisible cable finish. Scope of work: • Convert a hardwired picture light to plug-in (add power cord + plug, ideally inline switch) • Mount the light centred above artwork on a plaster wall • Run cable down the wall to an existing power point (bottom right) • Install a slim cable cover/conduit and paint/finish it to match the wall so it is as discreet as possible Finish is very important – I’m after a minimal, high-end look (not visible cabling or loose cords). Budget: $100 - $130 (Open to quotes) Description: Hi, I need a handyman to repair a roller blind that was pulled out of the ceiling. Maybe by a cat. The Issue: The cat pulled the blind, causing the bracket screws to rip through the drywall. The original mounting holes are now quite large and crumbled, so they will need heavy-duty anchors (like SnapToggles or Toggle Bolts) to be reinstalled securely. Task includes: Removing the remaining blind/bracket from the ceiling. Patching/filling the damaged drywall area. Re-mounting the bracket using heavy-duty anchors that can handle downward weight. Popping the roller blind back into place. Requirements: Please bring your own ladder and heavy-duty drywall anchors (SnapToggles preferred). I have photos of the damage attached. Located in Rosebery. I need a skilled carpenter to install architrave on door in bathroom. 1 x door, both sides The tiling protrudes the door jambs, so it’s unclear to me whether the jambs need to be replaced or if the architraves can be cut/shaved to accommodate. The protrusion varies and just two sides of the doors. In some sections it’s up 17mm There is also a section at the bottom on the door jamb that has written and needs to be replaced Please quote for supply and install, include one coat of undercoat paint. Need someone experienced to fix a kitchen benchtop issue and build a small wall. The benchtop currently has a lip/overhang that wasn’t cut, which is blocking me from framing a wall next to it. This needs a clean, straight cut (laminate benchtop, already installed). After that: - Frame a small wall section next to the benchtop - Install gyprock and finish it smooth (ready for paint) This is a visible area (living room side), so finish quality matters. Looking for someone with proper tools (ideally track saw) and experience with benchtops and gyprock. Photos attached. Located in Randwick.
