bought a rangehood devanti 900mm glass before from online, its too loud, and electrician who installed it says its defective unit, so under impression of getting a branded rangehood this time, but want it installed properly and ensure it is not excessively loud, current one is like 105 db, new one looking at is around 74 db. May need to put patch drywall/gyprock and put backing/noggins to support the weight of rangehood.

I’m looking to plaster what was the old garage, turned bedroom (9m x 3.5m) both ceiling and walls. Wanting the plaster boards fixed to the concrete walls with insulation that can be done by myself.
