Looking to complete two installation jobs. Job 1: Artwork Hang 1x large artwork (125cm x 155cm, approx 10kg) onto an internal brick wall. It has 2x D-rings on the back (must hang directly on two screws, no wire). Job 2: Ceiling Hook Drill and install 1x hook into the ceiling to hang a plug-in light fixture. Physical installation only, no electrical wiring required. I am unsure what the ceiling is made of (could be plaster, concrete, or brick). Tasker to bring an electronic stud finder / multi-detector to check the ceiling and ensure you do not hit any electrical wires or pipes before drilling. Hardware: Tasker to supply all necessary hardware (or advise prior what needs to be purchased), including 2x heavy-duty masonry wall plugs/screws for the brick wall, and appropriate heavy-duty ceiling anchors (bring options for both hollow plasterboard and solid concrete/brick ceilings). Please bring a hammer drill, masonry bits, and a spirit level. I can assist with lifting the artwork into place.

Looking for an experienced handyman to professionally hang 10 framed artworks in my apartment in Kew. Artwork to hang: * 6 extra-small framed prints (picture-frame size) – to be installed as a gallery wall on a painted brick wall in the living room. * 2 medium framed artworks – to be hung on the painted brick wall behind the living room sofa. * 2 small framed artworks – to be hung above the bed on a plasterboard (gyprock) wall in the bedroom. Requirements: * Experience hanging artwork on both painted brick and plasterboard walls. * Supply the correct fixings for each wall type. * Ensure everything is perfectly level, centred and evenly spaced. * Take care to minimise wall damage and protect the artwork and apartment. * Please bring your own tools (drill, level/laser level, etc.). Please let me know your experience with artwork installation and include the cost of any fixings in your offer.

Exterior House Painting – Victorian Weatherboard Home (~150m²) Seeking an experienced painter to prepare, prime and repaint the exterior of a single-fronted Victorian weatherboard home. Scope includes all external painted surfaces including weatherboards, fascia boards, barge boards, eaves, window frames, doors, architraves, verandah posts, balustrades, exposed timber trim and downpipes. Contractor to inspect site prior to providing a final quote and satisfy themselves regarding access, quantities and site conditions. Quote shall include all labour, consumables, equipment and access required to complete the works. Preparation is critical and shall include: Washing all surfaces to remove dirt, mould, mildew and contaminants. Scraping and sanding all loose, peeling or flaking paint. Sanding gloss surfaces to provide a suitable key. Filling and repairing minor cracks, nail holes, timber imperfections, gaps between boards and localised timber deterioration. Sealing all paintable joints and gaps. Light sanding and preparation of recently replaced weatherboards. Suitable products include Timbermate Exterior Wood Filler, Builder's Bog and Selleys No More Gaps Exterior (or equivalent). Contractor shall protect adjacent surfaces, glazing, gutters and fixtures from paint contamination and reinstate any items removed for access. All bare timber, repairs and exposed substrates are to receive one coat of Dulux 1Step Prep (or equivalent primer), followed by two full coats of Dulux Weathershield in colours nominated by the owner. Finished surfaces are to have uniform colour and sheen and be free from runs, sags, lap marks, brush marks, blistering and overspray. Upon completion, remove all waste, leave site clean and rectify any defects identified during final inspection. Paint and primer will be purchased by the contractor and reimbursed at cost upon provision of receipts. Any unused paint is to be left on site. A detailed scope of works will be agreed prior to award.
