I’m looking for an experienced bookkeeper/accountant to assist with my growing football academy, FB9 Academy. ⚠️ ONGOING LONG-TERM WORK AVAILABLE FOR THE RIGHT PERSON. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, experienced, proactive and happy to grow with our business over the coming years. What I need help with: * Xero bookkeeping and reconciliation * Categorising income and expenses correctly * Keeping our accounts organised and up to date * Preparing records for BAS and tax * Providing general accounting advice where required * Ensuring everything is set up correctly moving forward I already use Xero, so experience with Xero is essential. As we’re still a growing business, we’re looking for someone who offers reasonable pricing while maintaining a high standard of work. Cost is important at this stage, but I’m more interested in finding the right long-term person than simply the cheapest option. Preference: * Based in Australia * Strong experience with Xero bookkeeping * Accounting or bookkeeping qualifications * Experience working with small businesses * Excellent communication * Available for ongoing support If possible, please include: * A brief overview of your experience * Any relevant qualifications * Previous businesses you’ve worked with (or similar experience) * Your hourly rate or preferred pricing structure I’m looking to build a long-term relationship with someone who can help ensure FB9 Academy’s finances are managed professionally as we continue to grow.

I would like to do a zoom and screen share where someone can assist me in setting up an accounting system. I am currently using myob v9 desktop so I need to move to online system either Xero or myob. I feel a little lost as the current system I am using is so easy to navigate. I would need the following set up -invoices template -statement template -quote template -company information and fields - 1 employee set up Looking for help in setup and getting up and running and advice on which system would suit my needs with a quick 30mim how to use session. Open to Xero or myob options. Don’t need to integrate from my current system. I estimate this will take 2 hours of someone’s time.

I am hoping to find someone who is experienced in personal tax returns particularly, for ambulance workers (ambulance officers/paramedics). **I do not want someone to complete my return for me. I would like to get more concrete information on the following questions: - My employer contributes the mandatory super contributions however, they also require us to make additional contributions (+/- 5.5%/fn), are these additional contributions tax deductable? (They are not paid to a public sector fund that has a defined benefit interest). - I am a member of welfare fund offered only to our state's ambulance workers; this incorporates a small income protection insurance. Colleagues have advised that a % of this is claimable however, they are not sure how much. - I have a small business which I registered approx. 3 weeks ago and have some losses as I have not pushed the business or completed any paid marketing while I set it up. Can any of these losses (+/- $1,500) be applied to my personal income tax return). I would prefer to have this conversation over the phone however, messaging via Airtasker is fine. I do not expect the chat to take long. The price is simply the minimum I could enter, I will see what people offer.
