Sand Back Timber Deck Task description: I’m looking for someone experienced to sand back an existing timber deck in preparation for oiling (oiling/staining not required for this task). Deck details: • Approx. 8.4m x 4.2m (35m2). • Timber deck attached house • Includes steps one 3 sides: • One side with 1 step • One side with 2 steps • One side with 3 steps Deck is weathered but structurally sound with nails and screws secured and levelled. Scope of work: • Machine sand flat deck surface • Sand steps and edges (including around step faces) • Remove old surface finish as needed • Final smooth finish suitable for oiling • Clean-up of sanding dust on completion You will need: • Your own professional sanding equipment • Experience sanding outdoor timber decking Access & timing: • Easy access • Flexible with timing, though Friday, Saturday, Sunday. I’m looking for an experienced painter (or someone confident with aluminium frame preparation) to prime and paint my aluminium window frames and one sliding door. Scope of Work - 10 aluminium window frames total: - 5 × large windows — approx. 198cm × 142cm - 2 × medium windows — approx. 113cm × 142cm - 2 × small windows — approx. 92cm × 142cm - 1 × extra‑small window — approx. 100cm × 60cm - 1 sliding door with 2 main panels - All frames are currently cream and need to be primed and spray painted white (high gloss). - All windows except one large window and the sliding door have flyscreens — I will remove the screens and reinstall these myself. Requirements - Proper preparation of aluminium frames (cleaning, sanding/scuffing, priming) - High‑quality finish in white high‑gloss - Care taken to protect surrounding walls, glass, and flooring - Single‑storey home — easy access Materials - Happy to negotiate whether you supply paint and materials or I purchase them separately.
