I’m a stay-at-home mum with a young daughter and I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed by the amount of stuff and clutter we’ve accumulated — both mine and hers. I’d love some hands-on help going through things, deciding what to keep, donate or store, and creating some simple, practical organisation systems that are actually easy to maintain with a toddler around. I find it really hard to tackle it properly on my own as my daughter is usually with me, so I’m looking for someone who can give me some strong guidance and help me make decisions as we go. I’d particularly love help with clothing and storage solutions. We also have a separate storage unit, so I’d like to work out what is worth keeping there and the best way to organise it. I’m looking for a very capable, energetic and experienced person to help me systematically declutter, organise and clean my home in Kew. This is not simply a house-cleaning job. I want someone who is naturally organised, practical and hard-working, who can see what needs doing and work independently without needing constant supervision. The work will include: Emptying, cleaning and reorganising kitchen cupboards Sorting crockery, glassware, cutlery and household items into keep / donate / discard Completely cleaning out and reorganising the pantry, including removing expired food Sorting and reorganising the linen press and other cupboards General decluttering throughout the house Cleaning shelves, drawers and cupboards as they are emptied Taking unwanted items to rubbish/recycling/donation areas Sweeping and helping organise the garage Some simple outdoor jobs such as sweeping and weeding Generally helping me get the house beautifully organised and manageable again I will make decisions about anything valuable, sentimental or uncertain, but once we establish what I want, I need someone who can get on with the job independently and use good judgement. I am particularly interested in someone who has previous experience in home organisation, decluttering, housekeeping or preparing homes for sale/moving.
