Looking for an experienced commercial dispute / contract lawyer, preferably with experience in Western Australian law and software / technology service agreements. I am a director of an Australian technology company and currently have a commercial contractual dispute with a client relating to an unpaid balance under a software development agreement. At this stage, I am looking for the right lawyer to: Review the signed agreement and relevant correspondence. Assess our legal position regarding the outstanding payment. Advise on the most appropriate next step. Advise whether a formal Letter of Demand should be issued. Advise on termination, payment and IP-related clauses under the agreement. Explain the practical options if the matter needs to proceed further. Once the task is assigned to a suitable lawyer, I can privately provide the contract, emails, UAT documents and other supporting evidence. This task is initially for a consultation and preliminary legal assessment only. If we are comfortable working together, I may separately engage the same lawyer for the full process, including a Letter of Demand, negotiations and any court proceedings if required. Please respond only if you have relevant experience in commercial contract disputes / debt recovery, ideally involving IT, software development or professional services agreements. Please also mention: Your relevant commercial dispute experience. Whether you are admitted to practise in Western Australia or regularly handle WA matters. Whether you have experience with software / technology contracts. Your proposed fee for the initial review and consultation. Thanks SAM
