I commenced employment with my current employer in August 2021. Since approximately 2024, I have experienced ongoing workplace bullying, unreasonable management conduct, exclusionary treatment, lack of professional development/support over 4.5 years, and unreasonable refusal of annual leave. On 21 October 2024, after a leave request was declined, I formally raised concerns with management and HR regarding leave entitlements, fairness, resourcing, and the impact on me. Following this complaint, the workplace environment deteriorated further. An internal investigation/report reportedly substantiated concerns relating to management failures, including failure to adequately support and develop staff. Despite this, the conduct continued and meaningful resolution did not occur. I remain employed but have suffered significant psychological impact, stress-related illness, anxiety, and deterioration in wellbeing requiring medical support. I also contend I suffered loss of career progression and advancement opportunities. My employer later argued I was “not qualified” for advancement into roles substantially similar to duties I was already performing, despite management’s failure to properly develop or mentor me. My lawyer initially proposed resolution on the basis of either: 1. approximately one year’s pay; or 2. placement into the role/promotion I should have received. The employer rejected this and offered approximately 3 months’ pay to exit and release claims. I rejected that offer. My lawyer later counteroffered seeking approximately 40 weeks’ pay. The employer subsequently responded with an offer of approximately 3.2 months’ pay, which remains unresolved. I am now seeking alternate representation to pick up negotiations as I feel my lawyer doesn’t have my best interest at the forefront utilising strength of my claims, adverse action/workplace bullying issues, psychological injury, career loss.

We’re looking for a lawyer who understands Queensland law to assist with a small commercial debt matter, with the potential for an ongoing working relationship. A business owner is refusing to pay an amount owed to us. The amount is not large enough to justify taking the matter too far, and it appears he is relying on us simply giving up. We assisted him when he was in a difficult position by collecting stock on his behalf and even flying a staff member interstate to complete the work. The arrangement was agreed to in writing and further confirmed through calls, SMS and emails. We have records of all relevant communication. This Task was posted in 2023 and has since progressed. It is now an urgent matter with a Sheriffs Order having been issued. Needing urgent legal advice - the matter was heard completely unfairly, the VCAT Member was biased and ignored all my evidence and every witness incl independent building inspector reports. The other party’s legal team has managed to twist the entire situation from this unregistered ‘builder’ having completed Major Building Works and failing to comply with Australian Building Codes & Standards and the Building Permit. I self represented and was ridiculed and laughed at during these last 5 years of battling this mob who has already appeared on A Current Affair as Rogue Operators in 2018 and continues to operate now. Aware of 6 other families who were affected by the same issues dealing with this company. Please assist. Thank you Assistance with explanation of legal issues relating to building law, how to proceed with existing vcat matter. May result in class action against builder. Pro Bono preferred - interesting complicated matter with a lot of evidence - Due date: ASAP URGENT - this matter has since progressed and resulted in a Sheriffs Order. Require immediate assistance please - Due date: Before Sunday, 31 December 2023
