I need advice on the following points under the Cleaning Services Award MA000022: 1. Whether travel from an employee’s home to the first client of the day, and from the last client back home, is considered paid working time under Fair Work. 2. What the minimum Fair Work obligations are in relation to travel between client locations during a shift, including whether this travel is treated as time worked. 3. Whether a business is required to pay a kilometre-based travel allowance, or whether travel can lawfully be unpaid except where required by the Award, including clarification on obligations when an employee uses their own vehicle. 4. How to correctly document travel arrangements in a casual employment contract for a rural business, including wording that clearly distinguishes between paid working time and unpaid travel or allowances. 5.
