Waiter Private 80th Birthday Celebration We’re looking for an experienced and friendly waiter/bar attendant to help at a relaxed cocktail-style 80th birthday celebration being held at our home. Date: Saturday, 26 September 2026 Time: 2:45 pm – 8:00 pm Responsibilities: Greeting guests with drinks on arrival. Serving beer, wine and soft drinks, with regular top-ups throughout the afternoon. Preparing a small selection of simple pre-planned cocktails as required. Managing our drop-off catering, including keeping food warm where required, plating and presenting food using serving dishes provided, and circulating food to guests. Clearing glasses and plates, tidying as you go, and keeping the entertaining area and kitchen organised throughout the event. Providing general kitchen hand support to ensure everything runs smoothly. We’re looking for someone who: Has previous waitstaff and bar experience. Is confident preparing simple cocktails. Is proactive, organised and able to work independently. Is friendly, personable and professional. Presents well and is dressed appropriately for a private function. The celebration will have a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere with approximately 35 guests. We’re looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of the food and beverage service so our family can enjoy celebrating together. Our venue is completely BYO and whilst we’ll be doing 90% of it ourselves, we’d like a bit of help with a few things. - Heat up finger food in the oven for cocktail hour (party pies/sausage rolls) - Serving cocktail hour food to guests - Pulling out dinner catering and putting putting it onto serving tables with serving utensils ( guests will self serve) - Pull out the cake - Collecting and washing up plates, serving utensils/trays etc (cutlery and dessert cups are disposable and we will wash up our own wine glasses etc at the end of the night) and cleaning the kitchen. We have about 70 guests. Cocktail hour starts at 5 (so ideally arrive around 4:45) and we’ll need help until approx 7:30-8pm. This should be for about 2 people. I look forward to hearing from you!

Looking for 3 reliable, proactive people to help out at a casual Saturday night house party at our home. The party starts at 4:00 PM, but we would like you to arrive at 4:30 PM and work until 9:00 PM (4.5 hours total).
