I have a Late 2014 27-inch 5K iMac (model A1419, iMac15,1). I'd like it converted into an external 5K display using an aftermarket LCD driver board. Two write-ups describe the method: • khronokernel.com/macos/2022/03/01/5K-MONITOR.html • ohmypizza.com/2023/04/converting-a-5k-imac-into-an-external-5k-display You must have removed the glass panel of a 27-inch iMac before, using the adhesive-strip method. Please confirm your experience in your offer. The job: 1. Open the iMac and photograph the label on the back of the panel (I expect LM270QQ1-SDA2). Send me the photo before proceeding further. 2. Connect the driver board and test the panel on the bench before removing anything else. 3. Remove the logic board, power supply, fans and speakers. Return every removed part to me, including both drives (the blade SSD and the 2.5-inch SATA SSD). Do not power on or format either drive. 4. Mount the board on the back of the panel on insulated standoffs, so nothing metal touches it. 5. Run short extension cables (DisplayPort, USB-C, power, audio) out through the RAM door, so the screen never has to come off again. 6. Reseal with new iFixit adhesive strips. Test with the panel taped in place before final sealing. Done means: The display shows 5120 x 2880 at 60 Hz from my MacBook Pro over a single cable, with no new dead pixels, flicker or cracks. I accept the rear USB ports won't work afterwards. Parts needed: • R1811 driver board (preferred, for single-cable 5K) • 12 V 5–7 A power adapter, 5.5/2.5 mm barrel, centre positive • iFixit adhesive strips for the iMac Intel 27-inch • Extension cables and insulated standoffs Please quote two ways: labour only (I supply the parts), and with parts included. For the parts-included quote, list each part and its cost, and name the board if not the R1811. Please also tell me how you'd handle the glass cracking during the work, and how long you'd need the iMac. I'd prefer drop-off and pick-up at your workshop. (Budget, labour only.)

I made a post yesterday but it got taken down, so please reapply here. I’m looking for someone to help me complete my digital course to sell to my audience. Ive half written it, but need help with a landing page/ website/ launching it. It’s to teach other women how to get started in the modelling and influencing space, by using my personal experience to teach them. I would like to have a consulting call first before committing to working with someone to make sure it is the right fit for both of us. Would love to be able to see examples of your previous work with brands. I want it to be highly aesthetic, and not overly AI generated. Thanks!

I have a Facebook account that I can no longer log into. The last time I used this account was roughly back in 2020. I’m unsure of what phone number and email address is associated with the account but that information doesn’t matter because when I attempt an account recovery the only option it gives me is to enter the password which I don’t know and cannot reset the password due to not having access to whatever the mobile number and email address is. I have attempted numerous password combinations that I believe may have been set, I have attempted speaking to MetaAI for recovery options, reporting a “hacked” account for a recovery process but nothing has been successful. Unfortunately there is no way of emailing or contacting any other support for this matter so I’m starting to think this is impossible to find a solution for. The other thing is that I have never logged into the account with any of my current devices so none of my “log in data” is stored for any sort of potential recovery. If someone knows how to bypass this, you’re a life saver!!

IT Specialist – Server, AI Tools & Development Setup I need an experienced IT/development specialist to organise my server, PCs, software projects and AI tools into a secure, documented setup. My Dell PowerEdge R740 is already on-site and running. An NVIDIA A40 GPU will arrive later. Scope: • Rack-mount the server; check rails, cabling, airflow, power and hardware health. • Review storage/RAID, operating system and virtualisation. • Configure networking, secure remote access, backups and test recovery. • Set up consistent project access across office/home PCs and laptop. • Assist with transferring existing Dell support into my business name. • Review and configure ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, Claude Code, Google Antigravity, Grok, GitHub and development tools. • Organise project folders, repositories, instructions and configurations; identify duplicates and unnecessary tools. • Establish a practical workflow for coding, testing, independent review and working across computers without overwriting changes. • Demonstrate the workflow on one existing project. • Provide setup documentation and a handover/training session. Back up existing work before changes. No deletion, new subscriptions or paid services without approval. All accounts, repositories and administrator access must remain under my ownership.
