Hi! I've got a single roller blind that's stopped working and needs the chain clutch mechanism repaired or replaced. What's happened: The blind was let down too far past its limit at some point (before I moved in), and the chain connector bead has jammed up into the clutch and mangled it. There's no chain stopper fitted to prevent this, which is likely why it happened. What I've tried: I've pulled the clutch out and inspected it. The chain loop is seated and oriented the same way as the working blinds, but it now only drives in one direction — it lowers fine but locks like a seatbelt when I try to raise it, no matter how I set up the loop. I'm fairly confident the clutch is internally damaged and needs replacing rather than just reseating. What I need: - Replace the roller clutch / control unit (please bring a spare to suit a standard roller tube — I'll attach photos so you can match the size and bead chain, looks like a standard ~4.5mm bead) - Fit a chain stopper / limit stop so this can't happen again - Re-roll the fabric onto the tube if it's slipped at the end, and test it raises and lowers smoothly Helpful to know: There's an identical blind right next to it that works perfectly, so you can match the setup exactly. I'll attach photos of the broken clutch, the working one, and the bracket. Timing: Looking to get this done today, tomorrow, or over the weekend. Please bring the part with you if you can.

Location: Seaforth, 2092, NSW Hi, I need an electronics technician or experienced hobbyist to assemble and solder a small custom controller circuit on a piece of standard stripboard (Veroboard).I have a fully completed Fritzing top-down layout diagram ready (attached), which maps out all component locations, jumpers, and discrete parts. Key Requirements: - Track Cuts: The Tasker will need to manually cut/isolate the copper tracks under the dual-inline pins of the modules (ESP32-C3, MCP4725 DAC and HW-133 Buck Converter ) to prevent shorting across rows. - Soldering Work: Solder an ESP32-C3 Super Mini, MCP4725 DAC, HW-133 Buck Converter, a transistor, 3 resistors, 1 diode, 1 capacitor, and a JST connector terminal. Also, wiring as depicted in veroboard layout diagram. - Testing: Use a digital multimeter continuity check to confirm no adjacent copper bridge shorts exist before final completion. Materials: - I will provide the printout of the layout map, the stripboard, and all components. The attached Veroboard design layout maps everything out row-by-row. - The Tasker will need their own soldering iron, fine solder, track cutter tool, and multimeter.
