Interior Design Student/Early-Career Designer – Home Styling Consultation We’re seeking an interior designer, design student or early-career designer to help finish the final 20% of our family home. Most furniture is already in place with some pieces still to be sourced. We need a 2–3-hour in-home consultation covering several spaces, with advice on layout, missing pieces and creating a cohesive look on a realistic budget. A brief prioritised shopping list afterward would be appreciated. This is a rental, so recommendations must be practical, family-friendly and non-permanent. We can provide photos, measurements and existing ideas beforehand. Please include examples of your work and your fixed-price offer. Requirements: Registered Design Practitioner – Architectural Based in Australia Proven CDC/CC approval experience on small apartment/strata jobs Able to start Monday or soon after I'm an experienced builder, available to help and answer questions. I’m looking for an experienced draftsperson or building designer to prepare drawings for proposed internal alterations to my house in Cabarita Beach, NSW. I have attached the original approved house plan showing the existing layout and measurements, together with a concept plan showing the proposed changes. The works are entirely within the existing house and include: converting an existing office into a new bathroom, including new plumbing and drainage; the proposed bathroom layout and fixture locations; new internal partition walls to create two rooms within the existing rumpus/living area; and associated internal doors and wall changes. There are no extensions or external alterations proposed. I have spoken with council, who advised that the new plumbing and drainage associated with converting the office into a wet area, together with the new internal walls, means the works require approval and may be suitable for the CDC pathway. I’m looking for someone experienced in preparing drawings for NSW CDC applications. The finished drawings should be suitable for submission through the NSW Planning Portal to either council or a private certifier. Will the drawings include, as applicable, existing and proposed floor plans, dimensions, new and existing walls, bathroom fixture locations, door locations, relevant plumbing and drainage details, and any construction or compliance notes normally required for this type of application? We are planning our wedding in Burundi, East Africa, and are looking for a creative wedding/event designer to help develop and visualise the look of our ceremony and reception spaces. The venues are already selected, but little has been decided about decoration. At this stage, we mainly have inspiration photos and ideas. We already have someone in Burundi who will handle sourcing, decorating and implementation. This role is specifically for creative design and visualisation. We want someone who can collaborate with us, understand our inspiration and preferences, and help determine what the spaces should actually look like — not simply produce drawings from instructions. The design may include layout, seating, ceremony backdrop, tables, stage/dance floor, flowers, furniture, décor, lighting, colours and signage. 3D renders are welcome but not essential. We are open to the designer recommending the best approach, including 2D layouts, mood boards, elevations, annotated concepts or other effective visualisations. The goal is to clearly visualise the finished wedding and create a design package our decorator in Burundi can understand and implement. We can provide venue photos/videos, measurements or floor plans where available, inspiration images and information about locally available furniture/decor. Ideally, the project would include: 1.
