I'm looking for an experienced interior decorator to help bring my newly purchased one-bedroom apartment to life. My goal is to create a comfortable, functional home that feels warm, stylish and welcoming, while also being ADHD-friendly. I'm looking for someone who can: - Create mood boards based on a simple yes / maybe / no style process. - Develop floor plans that maximise a small space and make it feel larger. - Recommend furniture, décor, lighting and storage solutions. - Help me create a realistic furnishing budget. I'm a first-time homeowner after years of renting, so guidance is greatly appreciated. Happy to do a mix of thrifted / upcycled / buying new if it's worth the investment - Consider the needs of two indoor cats when designing the space. I'm not planning any major renovations, but I do have a handyman available for shelving and other minor aesthetic improvements. This will likely begin with a couple of sessions, with the potential for ongoing advice as I furnish the apartment. I'd especially love to hear from you if you: - Enjoy maximising small spaces with strategic designs - Know how to create distinct "zones" for different activities within a one-bedroom apartment (important for my ADHD) - Value aesthetics as much as functionality (bonus if you have experience designing for ADHD and/or cat owners!). - Have a great eye for beautiful interiors. - Love searching for quality pieces at great prices. Thrifters welcome! Floor plan attached. Based in Surry Hills. Prefer in person over online. Locals ideal. Please share examples of your work, your rates, and how you typically work with clients. Note: If you're newer to interior decorating and building your portfolio, I'd still love to hear from you. We can discuss whether there's a way to work together that suits us both.

Seeking an experienced home organiser and interior styling assistant to help transform my small study and small bedroom into a highly functional, organised and visually appealing space. Phase 1 - includes assessing the current spaces, decluttering and organising, recommending storage solutions, furniture, layout and décor improvements, and creating an environment that supports productivity, focus and wellbeing. Phase 2 - Once a direction is agreed, I would like the successful applicant to help coordinate implementation, including sourcing and purchasing furniture and storage solutions, arranging deliveries, engaging any required trades or assembly services, and overseeing the project through to completion. Onsite assistance is required. Experience in home organisation, interior styling, productivity-focused workspaces would be highly regarded. Budget is for Phase 1, we’ll price Phase 2 once the project is scoped. Please include details of relevant experience, examples of similar projects, and whether you can assist with both the design and implementation phases.
