We are looking for an interior designer or decorator to help design and style our upstairs landing area in a French Provincial style. This space will showcase a large collection of books while also functioning as a visually appealing transition space between rooms. Scope of Work Design and styling for the upstairs landing, including: • Layout planning • Book storage solutions • Furniture selection and placement • Accent furniture and décor • Wall styling • Colour and material coordination One concept we are considering includes a buffet cabinet or low storage unit, one or two accent chairs, integrated book storage, and wall décor. I have a 2 bedroom plus study apartment I've lived in for 15 years. The interior 'design' is a bit arbitrary and stale. I'd like to refresh it, so seeking some inspiration. I imagine choosing a designer based on samples of previous work, then an initial assignment to develop some ideas, with a possible further assignment to refine ideas, source elements and, if local, oversee work.
