We are looking for an experienced architect or building designer to help us develop plans for a home extension. We have a very rough concept of how we think the extension could work with our existing home (attached – yellow shows our proposed extension), but before committing to formal plans, we’d really value professional advice to make sure we are making the best use of the space. My husband is a builder and will be undertaking the construction himself, so we have the construction side covered. What we need help with is the design, layout, flow, functionality and making sure we’re not missing a better solution. We are not simply looking for someone to redraw our sketch. We’d like someone who can look at the existing house and proposed extension as a whole, challenge our ideas where appropriate and help us develop the best possible layout. Ideally, we’re looking for someone who can: • Review our existing floor plan, measurements and rough concepts • Advise on layout, flow, functionality, light and integration with the existing home • Identify opportunities or issues we may not have considered • Develop an initial concept/floor plan • Advise us on the process and what needs to happen next • Ideally continue with us through site surveys, soil testing, engineering and council/building approval plans, elevations and final documentation The pool has already been quoted and will be handled through a separate council application. We have two young children and are rapidly outgrowing our current home, so we’re keen to get started as soon as possible. We’re happy to provide our sketches, measurements, reference images and property details to help explain what we have in mind. If you’re an architect or building designer experienced in residential extensions and can help us turn a rough concept into a well-designed, approval-ready plan, we’d love to hear from you. Please include quote for this initial review/drawing plus quote for the next stages.

I’m looking for an experienced commercial workshop designer, architect or industrial planning specialist to help finalise an EV workshop in Burundi that is already under construction. I need practical recommendations to improve workflow, safety and appearance, as well as updated drawings. Scope: - Workshop layout, vehicle movement and work sequence - Positioning of lifts, tools, diagnostics, workbenches and equipment - EV work zones, battery handling/storage and appropriate separation - Staff and customer circulation - Security, CCTV, access control and secure storage - Fire detection/protection, emergency exits and evacuation - Power requirements and equipment/service locations - Ventilation, lighting, signage and workplace safety - Parts handling, storage and waste areas - Interior/exterior appearance and professional presentation - Important features or safety needs I may have overlooked Please propose a clear final package, ideally updated layouts, equipment placement, annotated visuals and practical recommendations for the construction team. Identify where specialist engineering, fire certification, electrical design or local approvals are needed. Concept advice must not be presented as certified engineering. I’m looking for an experienced architect, commercial interior designer or entertainment-venue designer to develop the concept for a new arcade/entertainment venue in Burundi. The irregular site has approximate boundary lengths of 52m, 38m, 26m, 9m, 40m and 47m. I’ve attached a document showing the site shape, dimensions, satellite location and GPS coordinates. I have ideas for some attractions and facilities, but no experience designing or operating an arcade. I need someone who can advise what the venue should include and propose a practical overall concept — not simply draw what I request. The design should consider: arcade machines/attractions and entertainment areas reception/ticketing and prize/redemption toilets, staff, storage and service areas customer flow, accessibility and maintenance access security/CCTV and access control fire safety, emergency exits and evacuation electrical loads, backup power, lighting and air-conditioning plumbing, internet/networking and acoustics signage, exterior appearance and site access The design must suit construction and operation in Burundi. Please identify where local approvals, specialist engineering or licensed professionals will be needed for later coordination with local architects, engineers and contractors. Ideally, deliverables would include concept/site planning, floor plans, equipment/space layouts, interior/exterior design ideas, 3D visuals and recommendations for anything important I may have overlooked. Please include relevant experience, examples of similar projects, proposed deliverables and estimated timeframe.
